Several highlights are
  • Be sure to use a qualified contractor;
  • To control costs, choose a licensed and insured contractor who lets you make installment payments, and who comes referred from others or who is otherwise reputable;
  • Explore grants from foundations or your state to help defray the costs;
  • Be sure there is adequate lighting for nighttime usage;
  • And, if you live in a snow client, be sure that winter traction is addressed.
