Probate and Trust Administration

The Passing of a Loved one and the administration of their estate through probate, or trust, are deeply personal matters that call for the utmost care and attention from your attorney.  If life and legacy planning is the process of designing a life and legacy blueprint, probate and trust administration are the processes of actually building a legacy.

The process begins with an event that triggers a provision in your estate plan, such as incapacity or death. The plan becomes 'executory', meaning that the individuals you designated in your plan documents must step into action and execute according to your instructions.

Probate and Trust administration can be complex and the people you have designated to execute your plan need competent and experienced counsel to guide them through the process. They must make important decisions - sometimes quickly - and they need help to make them wisely. They may need to prepare inventories of your property, prepare tax returns, or sign other important documents on your behalf. Ultimately they must divide and distribute your property to those individuals or charities you identified in your will or trust agreement.

The administration process carries a lot of responsibilities. We are here to guide you, or your loved ones, through the process as sensitively and completely as possible, and will make it as straightforward, efficient and cost effective as possible.

From the creation of your plan to the time that the last asset is distributed, our attorneys and dedicated team members will be there for you with an outstretched hand, a sympathetic ear, and a shoulder to lean on.

We are sorry for your loss.  Please don't hesitate to Contact us so we can assist you and your loved ones through this difficult time in a manner that will restore your Peace of Mind.
